3D FAN SHROUD FOR BETTER COOLING
New 3D printed fan shrouds in PA6-CF for rigidity and durability.
Currently these are suitable for all 40mm fans on the market.
The mounting holes in the fan body for the screws do required a small amount of relief with a knife at the starting point to fix the fan in place. This was deliberate to have the screws to be able to cut their own thread into the material.
The design of the shroud and material used, allows trimming, “if” required in some circumstances. In particular the extended cover over the sensor wire.
All that’s now required is a decent double sided tape to fix the fan in place. Designed to be compatible with 90% and above of all chassis on the market.
