With the motor attachment, the Lilienthal 40 RC becomes a full-fledged electric glider model. Thus, the model can be flown in the plane even without a high-start device.

The engine attachment has been designed aerodynamically in such a way that glider flight in the upwind is thus easily possible. The cable routing is carried out inside the motor attachment, so that no cables are freely suspended and inserted cleanly into the fuselage of the model.

The kit consists of various wooden parts, a brushless motor and regulator specially assembled for this model and a folding air screw with a spinner. A leaf stop for the folding propeller is also included.

The motor attachment can be retrofitted for all Lilienthal 40 RC models and can be purchased individually. As an additional advantage, it can be seen that the motor attachment can also be used universally on other flight models of this type and model class.

A 2S Lipo with 500mAh (not included) is suitable as a drive battery. A BEC plug for the drive battery is already soldered to the controller, so that the complete drive unit can be used without soldering work. All cable lengths are already precisely prefabricated.
